EIZO is expanding its lineup of color‑critical monitors with the first OLED model in the ColorEdge family, currently under development. Built on decades of expertise in color management, this upcoming model brings ColorEdge‑class precision to OLED technology for projects mastered in HLG, PQ, or SDR.

To protect the panel during bright scenes, OLED displays implement an ABL (Auto Brightness Limiter) system that lowers overall screen brightness, often altering tonal balance and color perception. EIZO has engineered a more refined approach that maintains tonal accuracy and color stability.

Higher Luminance Thresholds
image06EIZO’s OLED uses higher luminance thresholds to reduce unnecessary dimming, preserving brightness across more of the image compared to conventional ABL, where bright scenes can trigger aggressive dimming.

Mid‑Tones Preservedimage07Even when luminance control activates, EIZO’s OLED maintains mid‑tone integrity, while conventional ABL causes gradations to collapse and lose detail.

Flexible Dimming Modesimage08You can choose the luminance control method based on the content.
・Highlight Dimming: Preserves mid- and low-tones by intelligently dimming the highlight areas.
・Uniform Dimming: Reduces brightness evenly across the entire image for a consistent balance between light and dark areas.

Above images are for illustrative purposes.

Instant Feedback with Status Indicator

A blue status indicator lights up whenever luminance control is active, giving creators clear insight into the monitor’s operating state without disrupting the workflow.

Built-In Sensor to Automate Your Workflow

The monitor features EIZO's award-winning built-in calibration sensor technology for maintaining color accuracy.

Color Fringe Reduction

With conventional OLED monitors, high‑contrast edges in text and fine details can exhibit color fringing. EIZO integrates a dedicated circuit that reduces these artifacts, producing cleaner, more natural edges.
