Isazaly, or "Zalee", is a highly accomplished filmmaker and the visionary head of Kino-I Pictures, a prominent digital production hub based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. With over 25 years of experience in the film and television industry, Zalee has made significant contributions to the creative landscape in Malaysia and Singapore. Beginning his journey as a child actor at age 10, he later honed his craft at Akademi Filem Malaysia, where his graduation project earned the prestigious Best Film Project award from the KODAK Worldwide Student Program in 1999.
Zalee's expertise spans in both production and post-production. He played a pivotal role in establishing FINAS’ first Non-Linear Editing System in 1996 and served as a certified Final Cut Pro Trainer for over a decade. His work has garnered international acclaim, including being a finalist at St Kilda’s Film Festival (2005), winning the Grand Jury Prize from the British Council of Singapore (2010), Best Documentary Short at Hollywood Film Festival (2017), and Best Film Editing at the 32nd Malaysia Film Festival (2022). A Certified Master Trainer for DaVinci Resolve and a Certified Technician by Malaysia Board Of Technologists, Zalee continues to inspire innovation in the creative media industry and is currently teaching post-production subjects at 4 major universities in Malaysia.
