Sarah Silver first fell in love with the world of visual arts while working in her grandfather’s darkroom. Shortly after finishing her MFA in Photography at the School of Visual Arts in NYC, she was chosen to shoot for Surface Magazine’s prestigious Avant Guardian issue. Using dancers as models, the fashion shoot marked the beginning of Sarah’s love for combining movement and photography.

Sarah’s varied list of clients include Aussie, Covergirl, Florence by Millie Bobby Brown, Garnier, Haus Labs by Lady Gaga, L’Oreal, Lancôme, Laura Mercier, Maybelline, Nars, Nike, Olay, Pantene, Paul Mitchell, Proenza Schouler, Revlon, Sephora, Swarovski, Target, Ulta, Urban Decay. Sarah has been published in Elle, Glamour, Harper’s Bazaar, New York Times, Shape, Surface, Vogue, and W Magazine.

In addition to photography, directing, and GIF-ing, Sarah is a featured speaker for universities including Parsons School of Design, the Fashion Institute of Technology, and the School of Visual Arts.
