Q.

RGB high tones (Especially green) are lost when HDMI connection used on the CG3145 / CG319X.

A.

The issue happens when input signal(HDMI) does not have colorimetry information.

In this case, monitors can not convert the input signal correctly, and as a result, RGB high tones (Especially green) are lost.

Here is how to check  if HDMI signal has "colorimetry information" or not:

1. Press any of the front buttons (except power button), the operation guide appears on the screen.

2. Select   to displays the Setting menu.

3. Select "Signal".

4. Please refer to a screenshot of the Setting menu below.

When input signal does not have colorimetry information, signal Information of OSD shows “SMPTE170M/BT.709”.

If input signal does not have colorimetry information and having this issue, please try following countermeaure:

1. Use a DisplayPort connection instead

2. Try changing the signal/resolution of an signal source device for the monitor to get colorimetry information

3. Please update the firmware (Permanent fix)
