RGB high tones (Especially green) are lost when HDMI connection used on the CG3145 / CG319X.
A.
The issue happens when input signal(HDMI) does not have colorimetry information.
In this case, monitors can not convert the input signal correctly, and as a result, RGB high tones (Especially green) are lost.
Here is how to check if HDMI signal has "colorimetry information" or not:
1. Press any of the front buttons (except power button), the operation guide appears on the screen.
2. Select to displays the Setting menu.
3. Select "Signal".
4. Please refer to a screenshot of the Setting menu below.
When input signal does not have colorimetry information, signal Information of OSD shows “SMPTE170M/BT.709”.
If input signal does not have colorimetry information and having this issue, please try following countermeaure:
1. Use a DisplayPort connection instead
2. Try changing the signal/resolution of an signal source device for the monitor to get colorimetry information
3. Please update the firmware (Permanent fix)
