Using Multiple EV4340X Units
If the "Monitor ID" of EV4340X and the "Remote ID" of the remote control have the same setting value, you can adjust/set EV4340X using remote control operations ("Monitor ID" default setting: "1", "Remote ID" default setting: "1").
In an environment where multiple EV4340X are installed nearby, if you want to adjust/set each EV4340X individually using the remote control, you will need to change the "Monitor ID" of the second and subsequent EV4340X from the default settings. When adjusting/setting the EV4340X with the changed "Monitor ID" using the remote control, you also need to change the "Remote ID" of the remote control to match the "Monitor ID."
The ID can be set from "1" to "4," and up to four EV4340X units can be operated individually.
Follow the steps below to change the ID.
- Change each "Monitor ID" of EV4340X to a setting value ("1" to "4") that does not overlap (see Monitor ID).
- Change the "Remote ID" of the remote control to the same setting value ("1" to "4") of EV4340X that you want to adjust/set.

Note
- When you press "PAIRING" on the remote control, the "Monitor ID" and "Remote ID" are displayed. The IDs are displayed even when the "Monitor ID" and "Remote ID" do not match.
- You can power on and off all EV4340X units at once by doing the following: Even if the "Monitor ID" and "Remote ID" do not match, the power of all EV4340X units within the remote control reception range will be turned on or off.
- While pressing and holding "PAIRING" on the remote control, press "ON" (power on) or "OFF" (power off).
Using the Docking Station Function
This product is equipped with a LAN port and USB hub so that it can be used as a docking station. By connecting a USB-C cable, you can create a stable network environment even on notebook PCs or tablet devices that are not equipped with LAN ports. In addition, peripheral devices that support USB can be used, and smartphones can be charged.
- Connect a USB-C cable (CC200SS-5A or CC200SSW-5A).
- Connect the LAN cable to the monitor's LAN port.
- If necessary, connect a mouse, keyboard, or other device to the USB downstream port.
Attention
- This function may not work depending on the PC you are using, your OS, and your peripheral devices. Contact the manufacturer of each device for information about USB compatibility.
- Even when the monitor is in power saving mode, devices connected to the USB downstream port are operational. Due to this, the power consumption of the monitor varies depending on the connected devices, even in power saving mode.
- When the main power switch of the monitor is off, a device connected to the USB downstream port will not operate.
- When "Compatibility Mode" is set to "Off" and the monitor power is turned off, devices and LAN ports connected to the USB downstream port are not operational.
Note
- The MAC address can be found on the back of the monitor. MAC address pass-through is not supported.
- By using the EIZO MAC Address Clone Utility, you can temporarily replace the MAC address of the EIZO monitor with the MAC address of the computer. For more information about the EIZO MAC Address Clone Utility, refer to our web site. (www.eizoglobal.com/products/flexscan/mac-address-clone/ )
- This product supports USB 5Gbps. When connecting to peripheral devices that support USB 5Gbps, high-speed data communication is possible.
For USB-C connection, you can switch between display signal priority "4K 60Hz / USB 2.0" and USB speed priority " 4K 30Hz / USB 5Gbps" (see Signal Format - USB-C). The default setting is "4K 60Hz / USB 2.0" and the maximum USB transfer speed is 480 Mbps. - For USB-B connection, the LAN port cannot be used.
