Connecting Multiple PCs
This product can be connected to multiple PCs and allows you to switch between the connections for display.
Connection Example
Note
- You can select the input signal to display by pressing
on the remote control or using the operation switch on the front of the monitor (
). For details, see Switching Input Signals.
- This product provides a function that automatically recognizes the connector through which PC signals are input, and displays images on the screen accordingly. For details, see Auto Input Detection.
Share USB Devices Between Two PCs
USB devices such as a mouse and keyboard connected to the monitor can be switched between the two PCs.
Connection Example
Linking the Input Signal and USB Port
See USB Selection - DisplayPort / HDMI 1 / HDMI 2 to link the USB upstream port to the input signal.
Note
- In the Connection Example, set "DisplayPort" to "USB-B" in the "USB Selection" menu.
Switching USB Ports
Use either of the following methods to switch the USB upstream port.
In single window display
When you change the input signal, the USB upstream port switches automatically.
In PbyP/PinP display
Switch the USB port in the "PbyP / PinP Settings" menu. For more information, see Switching USB Ports (PbyP Display), Switching USB Ports (PinP Display).
Using PbyP Display
If you select PbyP display and input multiple signals to the monitor, you can display multiple windows side-by-side. Four windows can be displayed on one screen, so switching signals is no longer necessary and work productivity improves. The combination of signals can also be changed.
Switch to PbyP Display
- Press
on the remote control while in single window display.
- The screen will switch to PbyP display.
- If you want to change the PbyP display settings, press
again.
- The "PbyP / PinP Settings" menu appears.
- Perform PbyP Settings and press "MENU" to exit the menu.
PbyP Settings
Note
- When PbyP is displayed, the "PbyP / PinP Settings" menu can also be displayed with the remote control (
) or the operation switch (
) on the front of the monitor.
Number of windows
Settings: "1" to "4"
Selects the number of windows to split into.
If you want to switch to the PbyP display, select between "2" and "4".

Selects the layout.

Selects the input signal for each screen.
Note
The same input signal cannot be set for Windows 1 through 4. When changing the input signal on one of the screens, selecting an input signal already set on another screen will automatically switch the signal.
Switching the Audio (PbyP Display)
You can select the PbyP screen where audio will be output.
When PbyP display is enabled, if you press on the remote control or touch the operation switch (
) on the front of the monitor when the "PbyP / PinP Settings" menu is on display, the display position of the audio icon (
) will switch on the screen layout.
Audio will be enabled on the screen where the icon is displayed.
Note
- If you press
when a single window is displayed, "This operation is not available" will be displayed and the audio will not change.
Switching USB Ports (PbyP Display)
You can switch and use the USB port (see Share USB Devices Between Two PCs) associated with the input signal on the PbyP screen.
When PbyP display is enabled, if you press on the remote control or touch the operation switch (
) on the front of the monitor when the "PbyP / PinP Settings" menu is displayed, the display position of the USB icon (USB-B
/ USB-C
/ No Assign
) will switch on the screen layout.
The USB port associated with the signal on the screen where the icon appears is enabled.
Note
- This function cannot be used on a single window display. If you press
when a single window is displayed, "This operation is not available" will be displayed.
Using PinP Display
If you select PinP display and input multiple signals to the monitor, you can overlay and display multiple windows. Two windows can be displayed on one screen, so switching signals is no longer necessary and work productivity improves. The combination of signals can also be changed.
Switch to PinP Display
- Press
on the remote control while in single window display.
- The screen will switch to PbyP display.
- Press
again.
- The "PbyP / PinP Settings" menu appears.
- Perform PinP Settings and press "MENU" to exit the menu.
PinP Settings
Note
- When PinP is displayed, the "PbyP / PinP Settings" menu can also be displayed with the remote control (
) or the operation switch (
) on the front of the monitor.
Number of windows
Settings: "1" to "4"
Selects the number of windows to split into.
To switch to "PinP", select "2".
Layout
Settings: ""
Selects the layout.
Set the display position and display size of the small window (screen 2) from "PinP Position" and "PinP Size".
Window 1, Window 2
Settings: "USB-C" / "DisplayPort" / "HDMI 1" / "HDMI 2"
Selects the input signal for each screen.
Note
The same input signal cannot be set for the Window 1 and Window 2. When changing the input signal on one of the screens, selecting an input signal already set on another screen will automatically switch the signal.
PinP Position
Settings: "Upper Left" / "Lower Left" / "Upper Right" / "Lower Right"
Selects the display position of Window 2.
PinP Size
Settings: "Large" / "Small"
Selects the size of Window 2.
