Introduction

Thank you very much for choosing an EIZO color LCD monitor.

Features

Supports Video Display and Power Supply with a Single USB Type-C® (hereinafter USB-C®) Cable

When supplying power from the enclosed AC adapter

The USB-C connector (upstream: ) supports receiving video signals (DisplayPortTM Alt Mode) and power supply (USB Power Delivery).

While using it as an external monitor for a laptop, it can supply up to 60 W of power to the laptop.

Note

  • To display video signals, the connected device must support sending video signals (DisplayPort Alt Mode).
  • To supply power from the monitor to a laptop, the connected device must support device charging by using USB Power Delivery.
  • Power delivery of up to 60 W is possible only when using the following USB cable:
  • CC150SS81G-5A (Included)
  • Connected devices can be charged even when the monitor is in power saving mode.

When power is supplied from a PC

When you connect a PC (that is connected to a power source) to the USB-C connector (downstream: ) of the monitor, power is supplied from the PC to the monitor, allowing you to use the monitor without connecting an AC adapter.

Note

  • Peripherals connected to the USB downstream will not work if the PC is receiving power without using the AC adapter of the monitor.
  • To supply power from a PC, the USB-C connector of the PC must support a power supply of at least 15 W (5 V/3 A). If it is less than 15 W (5 V/3 A), the monitor will not work.

Additionally, It has a function that displays real-time power consumption on the screen, allowing you to monitor changes in power usage based on the operating conditions (see Conserving Energy).

  1. Reference values
Maximum power consumption is 85 W (AC adapter) / 9 W (USB-C [upstream]), standard power consumption 6 W (AC adapter) (brightness 120 cd/m2, no USB-C [downstream] connection, no external load connected, full white display, USB-C [upstream] input only, factory default settings)
