Q.

Why the monitor displays wrong color and non-smooth tone when connecting Mac via HDMI cable?

A.

It is because the HDMI port of Mac outputs not RGB full range signal but YUV limited range signal. This is the specification of Mac.

To solve the problem, please use a HDMI to DVI conversion cable or an adapter, and connect to the DVI input of the monitor.
