Rülzheim, Germany, April 4, 2024 – EIZO GmbH today announced the CuratOR LX2420-T – a 23.8-inch touch panel monitor with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) for system control and medical image display for operating rooms and interventional radiology.

In modern operating theatres and internal medicine exam rooms, medical professionals must process a significant amount of information and operate numerous devices. Therefore, reliable image display, high visibility, and usability are crucial for supporting operations and procedures. To master these challenges, the LX2420-T features a high typical brightness of 600 cd/m² and a typical contrast ratio of 1000:1 for clear display of medical images in the operating room.

The LX2420-T features projected capacitive (PCAP) touch technology with 10-point multitouch for interacting with system controls and digital documentation. Its high responsiveness to tapping, swiping, and flicking motions makes touch operation intuitive and smooth. Additionally, the monitor is equipped with palm rejection, allowing the user to rest their hand directly on the screen without causing any unintended input. The screen’s surface has an anti-fingerprint (AF) coating to minimize residue left from touch interaction.

The stand variation model allows for up to 70° of tilt, providing optimal comfort and visibility for users when standing or sitting at a desk. The monitor also complies with the VESA mounting standard for reliable attachment to medical equipment carts.

The LX2420-T is calibrated at the factory to comply with the DICOM Part 14 standard, making it optimal for diagnostic imaging. The IPS panel with wide viewing angles ensures that color and contrast are retained, even when viewed from an angle.
