Sustainability Management System
The Sustainability Committee was established under the direct control of the Board of Directors to manage sustainability efforts. It is chaired by the President & COO, who is also the chief sustainability officer, with its membership comprising all operating officers and the presidents of Group companies.
The committee develops policies and mid-term goals of sustainability, and the progress of sustainability promotion activities in each department is reviewed, evaluated, and verified based on the policies and goals. The purpose of the committee is to promote sustainability throughout the Group under the supervision of the Board of Directors and with the involvement of top management.
