EIZO Expands Mounting Options for Its Highly Durable 18.5-Inch Touch Panel Monitor for Industrial Applications

DuraVision FDS1983WT

Hakusan, Japan, February 19, 2026 – EIZO Corporation (TSE: 6737) today introduced two new mounting variations for the DuraVision FDF1983WT – an 18.5-inch touch panel monitor designed for industrial environments. Originally launched in December 2025 in an open-frame configuration for integration into chassis-supported embedded systems and rack-based installations, the monitor is now also available with VESA mounting or a dedicated tilt stand, giving customers greater flexibility to meet diverse application needs.

EIZO’s robust DuraVision series offers touch panel monitors in a wide range of sizes to accommodate the varying requirements of factories, control rooms, and other demanding facilities. The FDF1983WT is EIZO’s first touch panel in the 18.5-inch size category and now provides the same comprehensive mounting options found across the DuraVision lineup for maximum versatility.

The tilt stand model is designed for tabletop installation and allows the screen to tilt upward by 30° for ergonomic positioning. The VESA mount variation enables installation on arms and other fixtures for wall-mounted operation. AC power models are available for all mounting variations, while DC power models are offered with VESA and open frame configurations, supporting a wide DC input range of DC12-24V, ensuring compatibility with diverse power systems.

All variations of the FDF1983WT feature highly responsive projected capacitive (PCAP) touch technology with 10-point multitouch and stylus-based handwriting support. A built-in palm rejection function ensures that only intentional touch input is recognized, allowing users to rest their hands on the screen while writing without triggering unintended actions. The monitor is engineered for environments where gloves are commonly worn, such as manufacturing lines, system control interfaces, and healthcare facilities. It reliably detects input through thin gloves, ensuring consistent performance across these demanding environments.

EIZO continues its commitment to sustainability by using over 80% recycled plastic in the monitor’s housing and adopting eco-conscious packaging materials, helping reduce environmental impact and promote resource conservation.
