Change the resolution settings
1. Right click the desktop
2. Click ‘Display settings’
3. Click ‘Advanced display settings’ in the ‘Customize your display’ menu
4. Select the monitor you want to change, and select a resolution from the ‘Resolution’ pull-down menu.
5. Click ‘Apply’
6. A confirmation box will appear. Click ‘Keep changes’
Multi-monitor arrangement
1. Right click on the desktop
2. Select ‘Display settings’
3. Drag the icon of the monitor to the position you want
4. After placing the monitor in the desired location, click ‘Apply’
Duplicate displays (displaying the same image on both monitors)
1. Right click on the desktop
2. Select ‘Display settings’
3. Click on the ‘Multiple displays’ pull-down menu
4. Click ‘Duplicate these displays’ and then click ‘Apply’
5. A confirmation box will appear. Click ‘Keep changes’
Change the size of text, etc.
1. Right click the desktop
2. Click ‘Display settings’
3. Set the size of text by sliding the bar along the ‘Change the size of text, apps, and other items’ line. Click ‘Apply’
4. Click ‘Sign out now’ and sign into the computer again.
Windows Snap Function
With the Windows 10 Snap Function, you can easily lay out your windows
Maximize the window
Press the Windows key and the up arrow
, or drag the window to the top of the screen
Minimize the window
Press the Windows key and the down arrow
Place the window in the left or right half
Press the Windows key and the left arrow
or the right arrow
, or drag the window to the left or right side of the screen
Place the window in the upper or lower left corner
Press the Windows key and the left key
and either the up arrow
or the down arrow
, or drag the window to the corner of your screen.
Place the window in the upper or lower right corner
Press the Windows key and the right arrow
and either the up arrow
or the down arrow
, or drag the window to the corner of your screen
After snapping a window, thumbnails of other open windows are displayed. You can click on these windows to place them in the remaining free space.
