Information about compatibility between IP cameras and DuraVision IP decoders (IP decoding box, IP monitor).
Applicable models
- IP decoder with system software Ver.6 (DX0212-IP, FDF2712W-IP, FDF2312W-IP)
- IP decoder with system software Ver.5 (DX0211-IP, FDF2711W-IP)
- IP decoder with system software Ver.4 (FDF4627W-IP, FDF2304W-IP)
Compatibility
Our IP decoder supports camera's video display, PTZ operation, and setting changes, but the available functions differ depending on the connected camera. Before purchasing, please verify with the actual devices to see if the functions you plan to use will work. Also, since there are differences depending on the IP decoder system software version (Ver.4 to 6), when using multiple versions of the IP decoder, please verify by combining the camera with each version of the IP decoder.
A fatal problem with video display has been found in combination of some cameras and IP decoder with system software Ver.4. This problem is caused by a compatibility issue between the encoding device in the camera and the IP decoder, and there is no solution. If this problem is found in actual device verification, please consider verifying with Ver.5 or Ver.6 IP decoder.
Symptom: The display position becomes unstable, such as the display position of the image is switched, or the image is displayed overlapping other images.
Example) The display position of the image is switched and the same camera image is displayed on two screens even though it is not operated.
Cameras recognized to cause the symptom with Ver.4 IP decoder
- Panasonic: X8570, S4150, WV-S15*0 series, WV-S22*0 series, WV-S25*0 series
- ELECOM / DX ANTENNA / DELCATEC: CNE3CPZ1, CNE3CBF1, CNE3CDZ1, CNE3CDF1, CNE3CBZ1
Precaution 2
A problem has been found in the combination of ACTi's analog encoder handled by i-PRO and EIZO's IP decoder, where the encoder could not be registered, or if it could be registered, the image was not displayed correctly.
- IP decoder with system software Ver.6: You can solve the problem by applying system software Ver.6.20 or later to the IP decoder and disabling the "RTP B2 Frame" setting of the encoder. For encoders that we have verified, please refer to "ACTi (i-PRO)" in the compatibility verification result.
- IP decoder with system software Ver.4 to 5: Refer to the FAQ.
