Approach to Social Contribution

Through our business, we are committed to contributing to a prosperous and sustainable future society. We create and deliver products, systems, and services that address societal challenges, while building enduring relationships of trust with society and local communities. As a responsible member of the communities in which we operate, we actively support regional development and the creation of a better environment for future generations.


1. Priority Areas for Social Contribution

We focus on the following areas and actively engage in initiatives that contribute to the development of local communities and society:

  1. Healthcare and Welfare: We engage in activities that contribute to healthcare and welfare.
  2. Forster the Next Generation: We support cultivating and empowering young people and children.
  3. Environmental Conservation: We promote environmental conservation awareness and contribute to environmental protection activities.
  4. Regional Development: We promote regional development by supporting culture, the arts, and related initiatives.

We support the voluntary participation of employees in social contribution activities.

Activity Examples(FY2024)

Based on the above principles, each EIZO Group company actively engages in a variety of social and community contribution initiatives.



  • EIZO Europe GmbH (Germany)

    We support the activities of the food bank “Tafel,” which assists individuals and families facing food insecurity, and collaborated with other companies to donate a refrigerated truck. This contribution helps ensure the safe transportation of fresh food and expands the reach of support.

  • EIZO Europe GmbH (Germany)

    We responded to wishes placed on a “Wish Tree” by children from a local child welfare facility by providing Christmas gifts with the support of our employees, along with a monetary donation.

  • EIZO Technologies GmbH (Germany)

    We participated in an internship fair held at a local secondary school, providing an overview of our company and introducing various career paths. Our goal was to offer students valuable information and guidance to help them consider future career options and to support the development of the next generation of talent.

  • EIZO Inc. (USA)

    On “National Human Trafficking Awareness Day,” we made a donation to Operation Underground Railroad (OUR), a nonprofit organization dedicated to combating human trafficking. In addition, we organized an internal event to deepen employee understanding, raise awareness, and encourage active engagement in this important issue.

  • EIZO Inc. (USA)

    We support “Movember,” an international campaign aimed at raising awareness of men’s health issues such as mental health, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer, and make ongoing donations to the organizing foundation. In addition, we hold annual in-house events to deepen employee understanding and create opportunities for open dialogue on these important topics.

  • EIZO Private Limited (India)

    As part of our efforts to build a sustainable future, we participated in an urban farming initiative organized by local group Brookfield Properties. This project promotes environmentally conscious practices and supports local food production through community gardening.

  • EIZO Corporation (Japan)

    In support of the recovery efforts following the January 1, 2024, Noto Peninsula Earthquake in Ishikawa Prefecture, we donated 518 monitors to the Boards of Education in the affected cities of Hakui and Nanao. Through this initiative, we hope to contribute to the development of local human resources that will lead the region's reconstruction efforts.

  • EIZO Agency Corporation (Japan)

    EIZO regularly provides donations to support activities for children and families battling childhood cancer and other intractable diseases, children who have lost parents to cancer, and those who have had cancer.



EIZO Group Pink Ribbon Movement

We participate in the annual Pink Ribbon movement with cooperation from all EIZO Group companies to raise employee awareness of breast cancer and to sponsor and collect donations.

Support for Employee Activities

We encourage our employees to participate voluntarily and proactively in social contribution activities through the following initiatives:


Volunteer Leave

We provide special paid leave for volunteer activities upon employee request.


Creation of Volunteer Opportunities

The company participates in activities planned by local communities and related organizations, or plans activities itself, to provide employees with volunteer opportunities.


Provision of Volunteer Information

We provides volunteer-related information through internal communication channels as appropriate to ensure employees have easy access to information about social contribution activities.
