The Raptor RP2126 offers an exceptionally wide brightness range of 10 to 1000 cd/m² and a high contrast ratio of 1800:1, ensuring optimal screen clarity in varying lighting conditions, day or night.

The front bezel adjustment dial allows for smooth brightness control, fine-tuning to the needs of the ATCO and tower application.

Consistent Brightness for Optimal Performance

The monitor is equipped with an internal backlight sensor that ensures consistent brightness over time. This function stabilizes the backlight, compensating for fluctuations due to ambient temperature changes and the natural aging of the monitor, ensuring reliable performance and optimal visibility.

High Visibility in Bright Environments

Antiglare protection glass greatly reduces reflections and glare, providing excellent visibility even in brightly lit environments. It is also resistant to fingerprints, ensuring consistently clear images.

A typical ATCO tower workstation is equipped with multiple monitors for displaying various information. Wide viewing angles ensure the ATCO maintains a clear view of critical information, even when the monitor is mounted peripherally to the main application display.

Touch Panel Capabilities

Intuitive Touch Operation

The monitor features projects capacitive (PCAP) touch technology that accepts touch input from a bare finger, stylus, or thin gloves. High responsiveness to tapping, swiping, and flicking motions makes touch operation intuitive and smooth for flight data management, communication systems, and other applications. A non-touch variation is also available to adapt to any installation requirement.

10-Point Multitouch and Stylus Input

The monitor supports up to 10 simultaneous touches, enabling seamless operation across various applications. It also supports stylus input, allowing ATCOs to conveniently write notes directly on the screen for enhanced operational efficiency.

High Durability 

The touch screen has a non-scratch surface made of reinforced glass with a hardness of 7H, making it durable enough to withstand long-term use in tower environments.

Mounting Flexibility

The monitor includes additional mounting points alongside the VESA 100 x 100 standard, allowing for custom adapter attachments on the backside. This ensures seamless integration into various installation environments, including existing consoles and systems. EIZO also offers a  stand option for desktop solution configurations.

Complete Connection

The monitor is equipped with DVI and DisplayPort inputs for digital signal transmission, as well as a D-Sub mini 15-pin port for analog connections. Additionally, it includes various communication interfaces for network connectivity, remote monitor management, and maintenance. This enables system managers to query data from the monitor without needing to access the OSD menu.

Enhanced Audio Integration for ATCO Communications

The DisplayPort connection supports multi-channel audio, enabling the transmission of audio along with video signals. This allows the ATCO to receive aircraft audio directly through the monitor's built-in speakers, providing a streamlined solution for configurations where PCs are positioned away from the controller's station.
