Q.
Why the signal error is displayed and there are no image on the screen, when playing Blu-ray video on the player device connected via HDMI?
A.
Some player device such as PlayStation 4 or Xbox One supports 24Hz output with its optional setting. 24Hz output is an optional HDMI feature, so it is not necessarily supported with displaying devices. Please disable 24Hz output of the player device if the monitor does not support 24Hz input.
[Typical 24Hz supported monitor]
- FORIS FS2735, FG2421
- ColorEdge series with HDMI input (e.g. CG2420, CS230)
[Typical 24Hz non-supported monitor]
- FORIS FS2434, FS2333
- FlexScan EV series with HDMI input (e.g. EV2750, EV2450)
