Can the IP decoder display video from multiple cameras connected to an analog encoder?
A.
Yes. By registering the same number of analog encoders as cameras to the IP decoder, the video from multiple cameras can be displayed.
If you use DX0212-IP, FDF2712W-IP, or FDF2312W-IP, update the IP decoder system software to Ver.6.2 or later.
■AXIS analog encoder
- Use manual registration to register as the same number of analog encoders as cameras.
- Select the camera you want to display in "Video Stream".
■ONVIF-compliant analog encoder
- Use manual registration to register as the same number of analog encoders as cameras.
- Select the camera you want to display in "Media Profile". Media profile varies by the camera.
If you use an ACTi analog encoder, disable the "RTP B2 Frame" setting on the encoder. If you want to connect the encoder to FDF2304W-IP, FDF4627W-IP, DX0211-IP, or FDF2711W-IP, please refer to this FAQ.
