H.265 Support for ONVIF and AXIS Protocols

The high-efficiency H.265 video compression format, previously only supported by Panasonic, i-PRO, and TOA cameras, is now supported by ONVIF and AXIS protocols. For instructions on how to set up the IP decoder, please refer to the following guide.

System software Ver.6.0 or earlier only supports H.265 for Panasonic, i-PRO, and TOA cameras.

Set the camera's video compression format to H.265 before proceeding with setup.

For ONVIF
For cameras that support Profile T, the H.265 stream can be received by setting the Media Type to Media2 in Camera Information Settings. If camera registration fails, check if the camera supports Profile T.

For ONVIF

For AXIS Protocol
For a camera with the AXIS protocol, select the profile that is set to the H.265 video compression format under Stream Profile in Camera Information Settings.
