Q.

How does the IP decoding box output video signals when I connect two monitors with different resolutions?

A.

Based on the resolution of the monitor connected to HDMI1, the IP decoding box outputs video signals as follows. It cannot output video signals of different resolutions to each monitors.
  • When a high-resolution monitor (4K) is connected to HDMI1 and a low-resolution monitor (Full HD) is connected to HDMI2, 4K video signal is output from HDMI1, but no video signal is output from HDMI2.
  • When a low-resolution monitor (Full HD) is connected to HDMI-1 and a high-resolution monitor (4K) is connected to HDMI2, Full HD video signals are output from both HDMI1 and HDMI2.
